Monday, 23 June 2008 00:00

UPDATE: This award has been increased twice since orginally offered, and is now $85,000.

As of June 24th, A $50,000 reward fund has now been established to assist police with the arrest and conviction of the killer or killers of Donna Barnhardt and Darrell Noles. This fund was put together by members the beverage industry, members of the business community, plus a group of other concerned citizens and family.

The police said that this is the largest reward fund that anybody recalls in Concord, which goes to the urgency that our community feels about having a killer on the loose among us.

If you have any information, please call the Concord police crime tip line at 704-920-5801, or you can visit www.ci.concord.nc.us and give an anonymous tip.

I have read that to kill someone you hate is hard. But to kill a stranger, you have to dehumanize the person first. It takes a sick person to be able to do this. If you know this person, you yourself are in danger of becoming a victim. Do it for the reward or do it because it’s the right thing to do. Just make the call to help put him where he belongs.
