Memorial Service Planned for Wednesday, June 18 PDF Print E-mail
Sunday, 15 June 2008 02:00

The Barnhardt family is planning a memorial service this Wednesday, June 18th in Concord, North Carolina. Visitation will be on Tuesday June 17th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Wilkinson's Funeral Home in Concord, NC. Memorial services will be held at Wilmar Baptist Church in Concord, NC on Wednesday June 18th at 2:00 PM.

Donna Klinesmith Barnhardt is survived by three children and five grandchildren, all whom live in the area. Our family will always remember her as our loving and kind Mom and "Nana", the one who kept the family together with her infectious smile.

Most tragically, Donna's loss will be felt by her grandchildren, whom she doted over every chance she could. On the day she died, she was scheduled to take two granddaughters to their dance recital.

Click on the links below for maps to services:

• Tue 6/17 - Visitation at Wilkinson's Funeral Home - 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM

• Wed 6/18 - Memorial Service at Wilmar Baptist Church - 2:00 PM

If you are out of the area or would like to publicly offer condolences to the family or tell us of your experiences with Donna, please feel free to add your thoughts to our online guest book.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all through this horrible time. I pass by the Sun-Drop Company everyday and I was shocked to hear the news of the incident that took place that Friday. You never think that something like this could happen to you or those you love. I will be praying for the families co-workers and friends of those who were took, Don't ever think that they will ever be forgotten. These two special people and the families will be in our hearts and our prayers for years to come. One day the person will have to meet a higher power and if justice isn't served here on this earth it will be served then. Just remember to put your trust in God and justice will prevail. All my love and thoughts are with you all.

From someone who has lost a loved one I know there is nothing I can say to make things better. I am sorry Shawn, and will pray for you and your family and the Noles family.

My heart has been sadened for all of your families this past week. To travel past the Sundrop plant, as I do several times each week, makes my heart ache for all those involved.
I had spoken to Mrs. Barnhardt numerous times on the phone when placing orders, but never had the opportunity to meet her personally. I wish I had got that opportunity.
I hope that the killer is caught soon and that he will be held accountable for his actions to the upmost. And at some point, I hope that all of the family is able to rest.

God Bless You!!
